Welcome, I am Gary Vergason, Class of ’72, President of the SVE Alumni Association.
Thank you for walking and running with us! Whether you bring a friend, create a team, or make this a family event, we have something for everyone!
This low impact course, with mild rolling to flat terrain, is perfect for walkers and runners alike. A water station is set at the half-way point, and volunteer EMTs and fire department personnel help keep everyone safe on the course. Both routes start and end in beautiful Nichols Park.
Cash prizes are on tap again this year! $100 for first place and $50 for second place are on the line for the top two female and male finishers. First, second, and third place finishers in each gender and age group will also receive medals. All walkers receive a finish-line certificate. Post-race snacks and refreshments are provided.
